Art Car Boot Sale is an invitation to meet and buy art from Glasgow’s vibrant contemporary art community. An eclectic mix of affordable unique works and limited editions by artists selling directly from the boots of Glasgow’s finest art transport: camper vans, cars, transits and not forgetting the humble but essential bike.
The event occupies three main areas on the ground floor at SWG3, the TV Studio, Main Entrance and the breathtaking Galvanizers, a recent addition to the SWG3 complex.
This two-day boot sale puts the public in contact with 100 of the UK’s sought-after artists, including many well-known names; Beagles and Ramsey, Claire Barclay, Christine Borland, Ilana Halperin, Kate V Robertson, Toby Paterson, Helen De Main, Michael Fullerton, Alistair Gow, Tessa Lynch, France-Lise McGurn, Ciara Phillips, Ross Sinclair, Jim Lambie alongside some of Glasgow’s finest recent graduates all pitching up in person.
